The Mitsubishi Evolution (also known as the Lancer Evolution) is a high-performance sports sedan produced by Mitsubishi Motors between 1992 and 2016. It was originally designed for rally racing and became famous for its powerful turbocharged engine and advanced all-wheel-drive system. The early generations were equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that produced around 250 horsepower, while the later generations had engines that produced up to 291 horsepower. The car was also known for its advanced all-wheel-drive system.
